Tripoli, August 11, 2025 (LANA) - The President of the High Council of State, Mohamed Takala, met today, Monday, at the Council's headquarters in Tripoli, with the Head of the United Nations Support Mission in Libya, Hanna Tetteh, in the presence of the First and Second Vice-Presidents, and the Rapporteur, Hassan Habib, Moussa Faraj, and Belkacem Dabriz.
The Council reported on its official page that during the meeting, Tetteh reviewed the outlines of the roadmap she intends to present in her upcoming briefing to the Security Council on August 21. This roadmap aims to break the political deadlock and support dialogue between the Libyan parties, leading to a legal and constitutional basis that paves the way for free and transparent elections that are acceptable to all.
