Tripoli, August 11, 2025 (LANA) – The United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL) said that the Special Representative of the Secretary-General, Hannah Tetteh, discussed the political process during her meeting yesterday, Sunday, in Tripoli with Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dabaiba, in light of the Special Representative's intention to announce the roadmap in the upcoming Security Council briefing on August 21.

The UN Support Mission reported via its official social media accounts that Tetteh stressed during the meeting the need to end the transitional phases and move to elections; to maintain calm in Tripoli; and urged refraining from any provocative actions that would endanger the people of Tripoli and threaten their safety.
