The Electricity Company announces the completion of maintenance on high-voltage towers in Sabha

Sabha, August 8, 2025 (LANA) – The General Electricity Company announced, on Thursday evening, the completion of maintenance and rehabilitation work on 66 kV high-voltage towers, numbers (59, 60, 61, 62), located on the 18th km route between Sabha and Sabha Airport.

According to a post on the company's official page, the maintenance work was carried out by Al-Loud General Contracting Company, the contractor implementing the project to rebuild the collapsed towers, under the supervision of the General Directorate of Medium Voltage - Southern Medium Voltage Network Maintenance Department.

The company explained that completing this work will contribute to enhancing the stability of the public electricity grid and improving the efficiency of electricity supply in the region, thus reducing disruptions and achieving sustainable service for citizens.
