Al-Haddad reviews the latest security developments.

Tripoli, August 7, 2025 (LANA) – The Chief of the General Staff of the Libyan Army, Lieutenant General Mohamed Al-Haddad, met with the committee tasked with monitoring the implementation and consolidation of the ceasefire, representatives of the Disengagement Force, tasked with the tasks assigned to it by the Supreme Commander, a representative of the General Intelligence Service, and a representative of the Internal Security Service.

The meeting, held yesterday, Wednesday, at the General Staff headquarters, was devoted to discussing the latest security developments in the capital, Tripoli, following up on the measures taken and implementing a number of demands and proposals to restore security, thus contributing to the return of public life to normal. The meeting also discussed the results of the force's work, and emphasized the prohibition of all armed manifestations, the prohibition of the movement of military vehicles, and the necessity of their return to their barracks.
