Benghazi, August 6, 2025 (LANA) - During its regular meeting in Benghazi on Wednesday, the Presidency of the House of Representatives invited members of the House to hold an official session on August 18 to discuss the draft state budget law for 2025.

The meeting of the Presidency Office of the House of Representatives, attended by First Deputy Speaker Fawzi al-Nuwairi, Second Deputy Speaker Misbah Douma, and Acting Director of the Presidential Affairs Office Mabrouk Amqatif, addressed the progress of work in the House of Representatives, according to House spokesman Abdullah Blihaq.

During the meeting, the Presidency of the House extended an invitation to Central Bank Governor Naji Issa to hear about the draft general budget law.
