Al-Baour meets with Spanish Ambassador.

Tripoli – Wednesday, August 6, 2025 (LANA) – The Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Taher Al-Baour, discussed this Wednesday morning with the Spanish Ambassador, Javier Lara, aspects of bilateral cooperation between the two countries and ways to enhance it in various fields, serving common interests and strengthening ties of friendship and mutual understanding.
During this meeting, which was held in the presence of the Director of the European Affairs Department at the Ministry, Abu Bakr Al-Tawil, Al-Baour emphasized the depth of Libyan-Spanish relations, praising the positive role Spain plays in supporting the political process in Libya. He emphasized the Government of National Unity's keenness to develop cooperation with Madrid to reflect the aspirations of both peoples.
For his part, the Spanish Ambassador expressed his country's appreciation for the existing cooperation with Libya, affirming Spain's readiness to strengthen the bilateral partnership and support stability and development efforts in the country.
