Tripoli, 4 August 2025 (Lana): Minister of Culture and Knowledge Development Mabrouka Toghi discussed with the Chargé d'Affaires of the Russian Embassy, Nikolai Lukashin, ways of bilateral cooperation in the cultural and artistic areas and mechanisms for supporting, strengthening, and developing them.

The two sides also discussed the importance of benefiting from the historical relations between Libya and Russia to develop cultural exchanges, as well as activating joint initiatives that contribute to strengthening dialogue and creative communication between cultural institutions in both countries, as part of preparations to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Libyan-Russian relations in 2025.

The Russian Chargé d'Affaires delivered an official invitation to the Minister of Culture from the Russian Minister of Culture to participate in the 11th United Cultures Forum.
