Misrata, August 3, 2025 (LANA) – The Misrata Municipal Council received today, Sunday, the Deputy Ambassador of Sudan to Libya, the Sudanese Consul, and an official delegation, in the presence of the Director of the Misrata Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation. The meeting aimed to enhance joint cooperation.

The Municipal Council explained that the meeting discussed the situation of the Sudanese community in the municipality and ways to develop coordination in various areas that serve common interests.

The Municipal Council added that both sides emphasized the importance of continued communication and consultation between the municipality and the Sudanese diplomatic mission, which would contribute to addressing the challenges facing the community and strengthening fraternal relations between the Libyan and Sudanese peoples.
