Hun, August 2, 2025 (LANA) – The Al-Jufra Security Directorate held an expanded security meeting at the directorate's headquarters, devoted to discussing the implementation of an intensive traffic campaign targeting traffic violations and infractions that have become a serious threat to public safety and traffic flow within the region.

The campaign aims to address widespread negative phenomena, most notably the unauthorized driving of vehicles, whether civil or military, and foreigners driving without official identification documents. It also aims to track unidentified vehicles, remove tinted windows, and prevent underage driving. These are among the most dangerous phenomena threatening the safety of society and road users.

During the meeting, which was attended by the Head of the Traffic and Licensing Department and a representative of the Military Police, Al-Jufra Security Director, Major General Musa Al-Badin, stressed the need for effective coordination between all participating security agencies to ensure the campaign's success and achieve its desired objectives, with a precise definition of each agency's responsibilities and the mechanisms for control and implementation.

The security services called on citizens to cooperate with the upcoming campaign and adhere to traffic laws and regulations, given their critical importance in enhancing security and safety within the region.
