Istanbul, August 1, 2025 (LANA) - The Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Abdul Hamid Dabaiba, will participate today, Friday in a tripartite summit in Istanbul, Turkey, with Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, President of the Republic of Turkey, and Giorgia Meloni, Prime Minister of the Italian Republic.

The summit will address strategic issues of common interest, most notably economic cooperation and development in the Mediterranean region, strengthening partnerships in the energy and oil sectors, and the issue of irregular migration and its repercussions on regional security and stability.

According to the government's media office, this summit comes within the framework of ongoing coordination between Libya, Turkey, and Italy, with the aim of promoting joint approaches that serve the interests of the peoples of the region and contribute to supporting stability and international cooperation.
