Tripoli, August 01, 2025 (LANA) - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Government of National Unity expressed its solidarity with China following the floods that swept through several provinces, resulting in significant loss of life and extensive damage to property and infrastructure.

In a statement issued on Thursday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs offered its condolences and sympathy to the government and people of the People's Republic of China, and to the families of the victims and those injured as a result of these floods.

The Ministry reaffirmed its full solidarity with China in this difficult humanitarian situation, expressing its confidence in the ability of the relevant authorities to address the effects of the disaster and overcome its repercussions.

The Ministry reaffirmed the depth of the friendly and cooperative relations between the State of Libya and the People's Republic of China, and the growing partnership between the two countries based on mutual respect and coordination.
