The Ministry of Defense of the Government of National Unity warns citizens that it will carry out air strikes against the hideouts of outlaws.

Tripoli, July 30, 2025 (LANA) - The Ministry of Defense of the Government of National Unity called on citizens on Wednesday to avoid the vicinity of outlaw groups' hideouts, as it intends to carry out precision airstrikes targeting the positions of elements involved in human smuggling and drug trafficking.

The Ministry said in a statement, "Due to the intensification of security and military efforts to target the hideouts of outlaw groups, the Ministry of Defense informs citizens that precision airstrikes will be carried out in specific areas as part of comprehensive military operations aimed at destroying the positions of outlaw elements involved in human smuggling and drug trafficking, which pose a threat to public security and the safety of the nation and its citizens."

The Ministry of Defense called on all residents in areas near these hideouts to immediately move away from the locations where these elements are located and to avoid their surroundings for their own safety.

In its statement, published by the Government Media Office, the Ministry of Defense warned against providing any form of support or shelter to these outlaws.
