Tripoli, July 30, 2025 (LANA) – The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Defense in the Government of National Unity, Abdul Salam Al-Zoubi, discussed military cooperation between the two countries at the Ministry's headquarters on Wednesday with the Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Libya, Khalid bin Mohammed Al-Dosari.

According to the Ministry of Defense, the two parties discussed ways to enhance military cooperation by activating the cooperation agreement signed between the two parties in 2020, with some agreed-upon amendments.

The two sides praised the deep fraternal relationship between the two countries, as well as Qatar's support for the Libyan people in achieving their aspirations and building their state institutions, according to the Ministry of Defense.
