GNU MOF receives a Syrian delegation.

Tripoli, 30 July 2025 (Lana): The GNU Ministry of Foreign Affairs received yesterday a delegation from the Syrian Government to discuss ways to reopen the Embassy of Syria in Tripoli.

The official page of the ministry stated that the meeting was held at the ministry’s headquarters in Tripoli, in the presence of the Director of the Arab Department, the Director of the General Protocol Department, the Director of the Consular Affairs Department, and the Chargé d'Affaires of the Libyan Embassy in Damascus.

During the meeting, the ministry welcomed the delegation, emphasizing the depth of fraternal relations between the two countries and the commitment of both parties to strengthen bilateral cooperation in different areas.
