Tripoli, July 27, 2025 (LANA) - The Chairman of the Administrative Control Authority, Abdullah Qaderbouh, discussed airport maintenance and development projects with the Chairman of the Civil Aviation Authority, Mohamed Shlebak.
The two sides reviewed the most prominent technical and logistical challenges hindering the implementation of the projects, in addition to monitoring the procedures for granting flight licenses to public and private carriers, and achieving the principle of equal opportunity between them in terms of flight licenses, both domestically and internationally.
The meeting focused on ensuring full compliance with the highest international safety and quality standards, while removing all obstacles to the smooth flow of operations.
The Chairman of the Authority stressed the need to adhere to the provisions of applicable legislation to perform the tasks assigned to the Authority, enhance coordination between agencies to achieve the required quality, and strictly adhere to security and technical requirements to ensure operational efficiency.
This meeting comes within the framework of the Authority's effective oversight role to protect public funds, enhance transparency, and drive sustainable development towards the renaissance of the national aviation sector.
