Tripoli, July 26, 2025 (LANA) – Deputy of the Presidential Council, Abdullah Al-Lafi, met in Tripoli with the acting head of the Libyan Embassy in Egypt and Libya's Permanent Representative to the League of Arab States, Abdul Muttalib Thabet.

The meeting discussed the latest developments in the work of the Libyan Embassy in the Arab Republic of Egypt and the Libyan Delegation to the League of Arab States.

According to the Libyan Delegation to the Arab League, Al-Lafi praised the role played by the embassy and the delegation, commending the level of coordination and national commitment to the issues being followed up by the Libyan mission in Cairo.

According to the delegation, this meeting comes within the context of the Presidential Council's commitment to regular communication with Libyan diplomatic missions and ensuring consensus on a path to serve the country's stability and enhance its international standing.
