Al-Abed meets with Pakistani ambassador.

Tripoli, July 24, 2025 (LANA) - The Minister of Education in charge of the Government of National Unity, Ali Al-Abed, discussed with the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to Libya, Anjum Enayat, bilateral relations in the educational field and ways to strengthen them.
The ministry stated on its official page that the meeting, was attended by the minister's advisor and the directors of the Educational Facilities Authority, the International Cooperation Office, and the Private Education Department. Cooperation with the Pakistani school operating in Libya was discussed.
The ministry explained that the meeting comes within the framework of the ministry's keenness to monitor the status of international educational institutions in Libya and ensure compliance with approved national standards.
During the meeting, Al-Abed stressed the need to settle the school's status in accordance with the legislation and regulations approved by the Ministry of Education. He emphasized that the admission of Libyan students must be based on prior coordination with the Private Education Department and in accordance with the technical and educational specifications approved by the Educational Facilities Authority.
