Tripoli, July 23, 2025 (LANA) - The Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Taher Al-Baour, received on Wednesday the Maltese Ambassador to Libya, Charles Saliba, on the occasion of the end of his diplomatic mission in the country.
During the meeting, Al-Baour expressed his appreciation for the efforts made by Ambassador Saliba throughout his tenure to strengthen bilateral relations between Libya and Malta, wishing him success in his future assignments.
For his part, the Maltese Ambassador expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Government of National Unity and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation for the cooperation and support he received during his tenure, stressing the depth of historical relations between the two countries and his country's keenness to continue cooperation in various fields, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
