Tripoli, 23 July 2025 (Lana) EU Ambassador to Libya, Nicola Orlando, emphasized the EU’s continued support for strengthening its partnership with the National Oil Corporation (NOC) on renewables, climate mitigation, and energy security.
“It was a fruitful meeting with Chairman of NOC, Eng. Masaoud Suleiman, to discuss the EU’s support for Libya’s efforts to meet domestic needs and increase Libyan resilience, while expanding mutually beneficial cooperation,” Orlando stated in a tweet.
He noted the EU’s commitment to support Libya on its sustainable development tracks, stressing that strengthening partnership with NOC represents a strategic focus within European efforts to promote stability and growth in Libya.
