Tripoli, July 19, 2025 (LANA) - The United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL) announced the organization of an online discussion group targeting youth residing in the eastern region. The group will be held at 3:00 PM next Sunday, as part of the mission's "Youth Participates" program.

The mission explained, via its official page, that the discussion will focus on the options and recommendations presented by the Advisory Committee, while listening to the concerns and perceptions of youth. The group will last an hour and a half, and participants must be between the ages of 18 and 35, residing in cities and municipalities in the eastern region.

The mission confirmed that registration is open through an electronic form available until noon on Saturday, via the following link: https://forms.office.com/e/YxtsCjDFDv. It noted that registration does not necessarily guarantee participation, as participants will be selected based on specific criteria.

The mission stated in its statement that it intends to organize more consultative sessions, both in person and virtually, in the coming days, as part of its efforts to expand youth participation in the political process and decision-making.
