Tripoli, July 18, 2025 (LANA) – The General Electricity Company announced today, Friday, the implementation of technical works within the West Misrata Distribution District, as part of its ongoing efforts to improve the performance of the electricity grid and the quality of services provided to citizens.

The company reported, in a post on its official page, that the district's connections team completed the removal of 11-kilovolt high-voltage wires, extending across (19) electricity poles. This step aims to enhance the efficiency of the network and increase its operational capacity in the region.

The company expressed its thanks and appreciation to the implementing technical teams, praising the significant efforts made during continuous working hours, which reflected the spirit of teamwork and commitment to the specified timetable for project completion.

The General Electricity Company affirmed its commitment to continuing to implement maintenance and development plans in various regions, contributing to enhancing the stability of the electricity grid and improving the level of service for citizens throughout the country.
