Cairo, July 16, 2025 (LANA) - The General Authority for Communications and Information Technology (GACI) participated in the (55) session of the Arab Permanent Committee for Communications and Information Technology, held at the headquarters of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology in Smart Village, Egypt.

Dr. Abdul Qader Al-Zlitni, Director of the General Administration for Telecommunications Sector Development, represented Libya at the meeting, which was attended by a group of Arab experts and representatives of regional and international organizations.

The meeting discussed topics aimed at bridging the digital gap between Arab countries to achieve regional digital integration that enhances the region's position as a destination for technology investments.

GACI indicated that this participation comes within the framework of supporting Arab cooperation through collaboration with regional organizations and partners to address issues in the communications and information technology sector.
