The Speaker of the House of Representatives visits the Parliamentary Library and praises its contents in supporting culture and knowledge.

Benghazi, July 16, 2025 (LANA) – Speaker of the House of Representatives, Counselor Aguila Saleh, visited the Parliamentary Library at the House of Representatives' headquarters in Benghazi, accompanied by Council Member Abdul Nabi Abdul Mawla and Head of the Council's Office, Abdullah Al-Masry Al-Fadhil.
During the visit, the delegation was briefed on the library's departments and the books, encyclopedias, and documents they contain, in addition to the modern technical means and facilities dedicated to reading and browsing.
The Speaker of the House listened to detailed explanations from library staff about the mechanism for classifying and indexing books according to the latest standards in library science. He also inspected the library's electronic services, which provide digital resources that keep pace with recent developments in accessing information.
The Parliamentary Library houses a specialized collection of references and documents supporting parliamentary work, in addition to a variety of books in various fields of knowledge, enabling representatives, advisors, and Council staff to perform their duties more efficiently.
At the conclusion of the visit, Counselor Aquila Saleh wrote a note in the visitors' log, expressing his admiration for the development and organization he had witnessed. He praised the library's role in supporting culture and knowledge within the legislative institution, and thanked all its staff for their efforts.
