Tripoli, July 16, 2025 (LANA) - The Director of the General Protocol Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Taher Hussein, met with the Chargé d'Affaires of the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands and Deputy Ambassador to Libya, Helen Baartmans.

At the beginning of the meeting, Taher Hussein welcomed Ms. Baartmans, wishing her success in her new duties, and affirmed the department's full readiness to provide the necessary support and cooperation to facilitate her diplomatic missions.

The meeting addressed ways to enhance bilateral cooperation and exchange of expertise between the two countries, reflecting the friendly and sustainable relations between Libya and the Netherlands.
