Al-Baour meets with Romanian Ambassador.

Tripoli, July 16, 2025 (LANA) - The Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Taher Al-Baour, received today, Wednesday, the Romanian Ambassador to Libya, Nicolae Marin, in a meeting during which they discussed ways to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries and prospects for joint cooperation in various fields.
The meeting, which took place at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs headquarters in Tripoli, included an exchange of views on a number of regional and international issues of mutual interest.
Al-Baour expressed his appreciation for the level of relations between Libya and Romania, stressing the Government of National Unity's keenness to enhance bilateral cooperation to serve mutual interests and strengthen the bonds of friendship between the two peoples.
For his part, Ambassador Marin praised the Libyan side's sincere desire to develop cooperative relations and affirmed his country's readiness to support stability and development efforts in Libya, while continuing joint work to achieve greater rapprochement and understanding between the two countries.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the two sides stressed the importance of continuing consultation and coordination on issues of common interest, and working to activate bilateral cooperation mechanisms to contribute to strengthening relations between Libya and Romania.
