Libyan-Indian talks to enhance cooperation in various development sectors

Tripoli, July 14, 2025 (LANA) – Ashraf Al-Taib, Director of the International Cooperation Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Government of National Unity, discussed with Mohammed Alim, Chargé d'Affaires of the Indian Embassy in Libya, the possibility of benefiting from Indian expertise in various development sectors in the country.

During the meeting, held at the Ministry's headquarters in Tripoli, the two sides discussed a number of topics, including supporting trade exchange between the two countries, encouraging Libyan companies to participate in exhibitions and economic events in India, and enhancing cooperation in the fields of health and education. They also discussed the possibility of benefiting from Indian expertise in various development sectors.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the two sides affirmed the depth of the positive relations between Libya and the Republic of India, and their keenness to continue coordination and develop cooperation mechanisms to serve the common interests of the two countries in various fields.
