Al-Menfi and Sisi review bilateral relations.

Malabo, July 14, 2025 (Lana) President of the Presidential Council (PC), Mohammed Al-Menfi, held a meeting with the Egyptian President, Abdul-Fatah Sisi, yesterday on the sidelines of the seventh semi-annual coordination meeting between the African Union and the Regional Economic Communities, held in Malabo, the capital of Equatorial Guinea.

The media office of the President of PC stated that the meeting discussed ways to develop and strengthen bilateral cooperation between Libya and Egypt to serve the common interest of the two countries, in addition to exchanging vision about the latest regional and international developments.

For his side, the official spokesperson for the Egyptian Presidency, Ambassador Mohamed El-Shenawy, stated that the meeting also discussed mechanisms to support continental integration efforts, enhance sustainable development paths, and protect peace and security on the African continent.
