The Electoral Commission begins distributing voter cards for the municipal council elections (Group - 2025)

Tripoli, July 12, 2025 (LANA) – The High National Elections Commission (HNEC) announced the start of the voter card distribution process at designated distribution centers within the municipalities targeted for the 2025 municipal council elections.

The commission explained, in a post on its official page on Saturday, that voters can receive their voter cards from the center where they registered, upon presentation of approved identification.

According to the same source, the distribution centers are open daily, except Friday, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

The commission emphasized the importance of voters obtaining their voter cards on the specified dates, as this represents an essential step in ensuring participation in the electoral process.

This step is part of the technical and logistical preparations undertaken by the commission to ensure that the electoral process proceeds in accordance with professional standards and achieves transparency.
