Al-Haddad meets with Security and Military Committee.

Tripoli, July 10, 2025 (LANA) – The Chief of General Staff of the Army, Lieutenant General Mohammed Al-Haddad, discussed with members of the Interim Committee for Security and Military Arrangements the latest security developments in the capital, Tripoli, enhancing the field readiness of army forces, and following up on measures taken to restore security, thus contributing to the return of public life to normal.

This came during a meeting held yesterday, Wednesday, in the presence of the committee charged with monitoring the implementation and consolidation of the ceasefire, representatives of the Disengagement Force, tasked with tasks issued by the Supreme Commander, the Director of the Tripoli Security Directorate, and advisors to the Presidential Council.

The Libyan Army's General Staff reported that the meeting discussed the results of the force's work and emphasized the need to ban all armed manifestations and prevent the movement of military vehicles within the capital, Tripoli, in coordination with the Tripoli Security Directorate's Support Force and the Military Police. The General Staff also emphasized the importance of cooperation from all personnel, continuing to work with a team spirit and dedication to serving the citizen and protecting the capital's security.
