Chief of Staff General meets with the UK Ambassador.

Tripoli, 9 July 2025 (Lana) Chief of Staff General, Lieutenant General Mohammed Haddad, discussed with the British Ambassador to Libya, Dr. Martin Longden, and the British Defense Attaché, Colonel Matthew Ketterer, enhancing cooperation in the areas of military training and consulting between the two countries.
During the meeting, held in Tripoli, the two sides discussed prospects for joint military cooperation between Libya and the UK, efforts to support the military institution, and unifying efforts to combat terrorism and organized crime.
According to the General Staff of the Libyan Army on its Facebook page, Al-Haddad praised the UK's international position in supporting Libya, noting the importance of relations between the two friendly countries.
For his part, Ambassador Longden emphasized their support for the efforts made by the Chief of Staff to advance and unify the military institution.
