Tripoli, July 4, 2025 (LANA) – The European Union Delegation to Libya expressed its deep sorrow over the passing of Professor Najib al-Hasadi, one of Libya's most prominent thinkers, known for his rich contributions to promoting a culture of social peace, dialogue, and intercultural understanding.

The mission posted on its official page: "We are deeply saddened by the passing of Professor Najib al-Hasadi, a visionary thinker whose commitment to social peace, dialogue, and cultural understanding left a lasting mark on Libya."

The mission also offered its deepest condolences to his family and to all those influenced by his work and academic and intellectual career, praying for mercy and forgiveness for him.

The deceased was a prominent figure in the Libyan intellectual scene, with distinguished scientific and cultural contributions that enriched the Arab library. He also contributed to consolidating the values ​​of dialogue and tolerance in Libyan society.
