Tripoli, July 4, 2025 (LANA) – The General Electricity Company announced today, Friday, that work is continuing on the 11/66 kV Derna Injection Station project, as part of its urgent plans to improve the performance of the city's electricity grid.

The company reported in a post on its official page that technical teams completed the pouring of the basement floor yesterday, as part of the civil phase of the project. The project is being implemented by the Engineering Company for Joint Electrical and Mechanical Works, under the supervision and follow-up of the Derna Distribution Projects Department.

The project aims to improve the efficiency of the electricity grid and achieve stability in the city of Derna, as part of the company's efforts to meet citizens' needs and enhance the electrical infrastructure in the region.
