Dbaiba Meets Victims of the 2019 Tripoli War.

Tripoli, July 2, 2025 (LANA) - Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbaiba met on Wednesday with representatives of those affected by the 2019 Tripoli war at his office in the Prime Minister's Office.

The Prime Minister's Media Office stated that Dbaiba expressed his sympathy for those affected during the meeting, emphasizing his understanding of their suffering and the need to provide them with justice commensurate with the extent of the damage they suffered.

The Prime Minister called for the importance of raising the issue before the public in an organized manner to ensure the voice of those affected is heard effectively. He emphasized that the government will work to study the issue of reparations and compensation for those affected, according to clear priorities and sound and realistic principles that take into account available resources.

Dbaiba stressed the government's commitment to following up on this issue and tasking relevant authorities with developing practical solutions to achieve justice and meet the aspirations of those affected.
