The annual meeting of the Supreme Council of Military Colleges for the year 2025.

Tripoli, July 1, 2025 (L:ANA) - The Chief of the General Staff of the Libyan Army, Lieutenant General Mohammed Al-Haddad, chaired the annual meeting of the Supreme Council of Military Colleges for the training year 2025.

The meeting, held on Monday at the General Staff headquarters in Tripoli, was attended by the heads of agencies, the Director of the Training Department, the Director of the General Administration of Military Accounts, the Director of the Financial Department at the General Staff, commanders of military colleges and academies, senior instructors at military colleges and academies, the Chairman of the Military College Student Admissions Committee, and the Commander of the Scientific Affairs Division at the General Staff.

The Chief of the General Staff welcomed the officers of the military colleges, praising the role these institutions play in graduating academic cadres to serve in Libyan army units. He emphasized the importance of the role of bodies and departments in supporting these institutions to ensure their optimal performance.

The General Staff Media Center explained that the meeting discussed several points, including those related to the current training year (2024-2025) in terms of evaluation and level, training reports at the military colleges for the 2024/2025 training year, and preparations for the graduation of batches of students.

The meeting also addressed determining the proposed numbers of students to be admitted to the military colleges for the 2025-2026 training year, in addition to developing the colleges' academic curricula to keep pace with recent developments in various military fields, in coordination with the Training Department in this regard.
