Tripoli, 30 June 2025 (Lana)—UN Deputy Special Representative of the Secretary-General Stephanie Koury met at the House of Representatives headquarters in Tripoli with MP Abdul Hadi Al-Sghayer to discuss UNSMIL's work on a roadmap for a Libyan-led, UN-facilitated political process.

“We emphasized the importance of active Libyan engagement in shaping this roadmap to foster a national consensus and end the unsustainable status quo,” Koury said in a tweet.

“Crucially, we aligned on the need to meet Libyans’ aspirations for security, stability, and development under unified and legitimate institutions,” she added.
