The University of Benghazi participates in an international training course in Tunisia to prepare trainers on migration issues.

Benghazi, June 29, 2025 (LANA) – A number of faculty members from the University of Benghazi participated in a Training of Trainers (TOT) course hosted by the capital, Tunis.

The University of Benghazi's media office stated that the course, organized by the International Organization for Migration (IOM), in coordination with the Ministry of Higher Education and the Foreign Affairs Committee of the House of Representatives, was presented by Dr. Ayman Al-Zahri, a faculty member at the American University in Cairo and a researcher specializing in migration issues and studies.

The training program focused on building the participants' capacities to design and implement effective training programs related to specialized academic research on migration, with an emphasis on modern research methods and providing scientific content that keeps pace with local and international changes and challenges in this vital field.

The course resulted in the accreditation of the participating team from the University of Benghazi to lead local training initiatives that enhance research capabilities in this field.
