Tripoli, June 28, 2025 (LANA) – Minister of Youth in the Government of National Unity, Fathallah Al-Zani, discussed with the Chargé d'Affaires of the Iraqi Embassy in Tripoli, Dr. Ahmed Al-Sahhaf, ways to enhance bilateral cooperation in the youth and sports fields.

During a meeting held on Thursday, the two sides also discussed activating the memorandum of understanding signed last year between the two sides, which will contribute to expanding the horizons of partnership and implementing joint programs that serve the aspirations of youth in both countries.

The meeting addressed the importance of exchanging expertise and institutional experiences, and coordinating efforts to implement cross-border Arab youth initiatives that reflect common goals and enhance cultural communication. Al-Zani affirmed the Ministry of Youth's keenness to expand the circles of Arab cooperation and activate channels of joint action to support development and capacity-building efforts, embodying the spirit of openness and integration between brotherly and friendly countries.
