Tripoli, June 25, 2025 (LANA) – The Tripoli Security Directorate announced this evening, Wednesday, the launch of the joint security plan in Tripoli, under the supervision of the Directorate and with the participation of various relevant security and military agencies. This is in implementation of the decision of the President of the Presidential Council regarding the formation of a joint committee for security and military arrangements in the capital.
The Directorate explained that the Director of Tripoli Security, Major General Khalil Wahba, gave the official starting signal through a field tour that included a number of locations inside and around the capital, marking the launch of the joint security operations.
The Directorate indicated that this step comes as part of the efforts made to confront current security challenges, enhance stability, and impose the highest levels of security and administrative discipline within the city.
