Tripoli, June 25, 2025 (LANA) – President of the Presidential Council, Mohamed Al-Menfi, held discussions on Wednesday evening with a delegation from the city of Misrata, including the mayor and members of the municipal council, and the city's Council of Elders and Notables. The delegation discussed developments in the general situation and efforts to consolidate national stability.

The Presidential Media Office reported that the meeting reflected the spirit of understanding and coordination between the political leadership and local components. Al-Menfi praised the pivotal national role played by the city of Misrata, its steadfast positions in defending the unity of the country and the safety of the capital, Tripoli, and the efforts of its loyal citizens who have stood as a solid barrier against anyone who attempts to undermine the capital's security or tamper with its vital facilities.
