Director of Central Support meets with new officers.

Tripoli, June 25, 2025 (LANA) – The Director of the General Directorate of Central Support at the Ministry of Interior, Major General Abdul Wahid Abdul Samad, held a meeting today, Wednesday, with the newly appointed officers. This meeting is in implementation of the Minister of Interior's Decision No. (666) of 2025 regarding the distribution of security personnel.

At the beginning of the meeting, Major General Abdul Samad welcomed the new officers, stressing the importance of professional discipline and a sense of responsibility in performing the tasks assigned to them. He pointed out that the General Directorate of Central Support relies on young talent to provide security work with renewed energy that contributes to serving the nation and its citizens.

The meeting addressed the nature of field security work, emphasizing the need to adhere to the instructions and legislation governing the work of security personnel. Officers were also instructed to intensify efforts to enhance stability and maintain public order across all regions.
