Tripoli, June 25, 2025 (LANA) – The Chairman of the Presidential Council and Supreme Commander of the Libyan Army, Mohamed Al-Mnifi, met this morning in Tripoli with the Chief of General Staff, Lieutenant General Mohamed Al-Haddad, and the Chief of Operations, Major General Hussein Abdullah.

The Presidential Media Office stated that the meeting discussed the results of the work of the committee assigned by the Presidential Council to consolidate the ceasefire and activate security arrangements in the capital.

The Media Office explained that the Chairman of the Presidential Council stressed during the meeting the importance of this committee's role in establishing security and restoring stability within the capital.
