Mizdah, June 23, 2025 (LANA) – The Ministry of Interior of the Government of National Unity announced an intensive security deployment by the Joint Security Room patrols in the city of Mizdah and its suburbs. This is part of the enhanced security presence, with the aim of maintaining security, apprehending wanted persons, and supporting the security directorates in carrying out their duties, ensuring the preservation of stability and public order.

The ministry explained that the desert patrols are conducting extensive combing operations of desert and land routes and valleys to monitor and control illegal immigration, combat smuggling, and confront all forms of organized crime. It noted that these operations are in implementation of the security instructions issued by the Ministry of Interior, which aim to enforce the rule of law, maintain public order, and confront any threats to the security of the region.
