Tripoli, June 23, 2025 (LANA) – The General Electricity Company announced on Monday the commencement of pre-operational tests at the 11/30 kV Souq al-Thalatha power station in Tripoli, following the replacement of its equipment with new, modern equipment.

The company explained, in a post on its official page, that this project comes within the framework of its ongoing efforts to support the electricity grid and enhance its operational efficiency, particularly in the Souq al-Thalatha area and neighboring areas. It noted that the station, once operational, will effectively contribute to enhancing the stability of the electricity grid in the capital.
