UNSMIL calls the youth of Gharyan and surrounding cities to participate in a political dialogue on Libya's future.

Tripoli, 23 June 2025 (Lana): UNSMIL called young men and women from Gharyan and surrounding cities to participate in an in-person discussion session to be held next Thursday at Gharyan Municipality headquarters as part of its "Youth Engage" program, which aims to engage youth in the political process.
The mission stated on its official page that the session will last for an hour and a half and is part of a series of political consultations aimed at strengthening the role of youth in the political solution process in Libya, whether through in-person or virtual meetings.
The session aims to hear the views of participants regarding developments in the political process in the country, discuss the recommendations issued by the Advisory Committee, and examine the aspirations and concerns of young people about the political future in Libya.
The UNSMIL identified the target age group as being between 18 and 35 years old and invites those wishing to participate to register via the online form.
