Tripoli, June 22, 2025 (LANA) – The Ministry of Interior of the Government of National Unity announced today, Sunday, the completion of procedures for merging the Tajoura and Qarabulli Security Directorates under the name "Tajoura Security Directorate," in implementation of the Minister of Interior's Decision No. (645) of 2025.

The Ministry explained, in a post on its official page, that the committee charged with the handover process has completed all arrangements related to the merger of the two directorates, including the handover of fixed and movable assets and weapons to the new directorate.

This measure comes within the framework of the Ministry of Interior's plan to organize security work and raise the efficiency of performance, contributing to enhancing stability and improving the level of security services in the areas included in the merger.
