Electricity Company: Completion of civil works for the project to connect three power transmission stations in Tajoura and Souq Al-Jumaa.

Tripoli, June 21, 2025 (LANA) – The General Electricity Company announced today, Saturday, the completion of civil works for a project to connect three power transmission stations with electrical cables in the Tajoura and Souq Al-Jumaa areas.

The company explained in a post on its official page that the project includes connecting the Bir al-Usta Milad, the proposed Isban, and the new Shatt al-Hanshir stations with 220 kilovolt electrical cables, extending approximately 15 kilometers.

This project comes within the framework of the company's efforts to raise the efficiency of the electricity grid and improve its performance, keeping pace with the rapid population and urban growth witnessed in the eastern areas of Tripoli, especially Tajoura and Souq al-Jumaa. It also contributes to enhancing the stability of the electricity supply and meeting citizens' needs.
