Tripoli, June 19, 2025 (LANA) - President of the Presidential Council, Mohamed Al-Mnifi, met today, Thursday, at the Council's headquarters in the capital, Tripoli, with the Mayor of Abu Salim, Abdul Rahman Al-Hamdi, and members of the Municipal Council. The meeting was attended by Fawzia Karawan, a member of the Supreme Council of State for Abu Salim.

During the meeting, attendees praised Al-Mnifi's efforts in forming the interim committee for security and military arrangements, his relentless efforts to clear the capital of all armed manifestations, and his efforts to enable regular police and military forces to perform their duties in a safe and disciplined environment.

The participants praised the prominent role played by the Disengagement Force, assigned by the Supreme Commander, in maintaining security in the capital, strengthening state authority, and consolidating the rule of law. They stressed the importance of continuing these efforts to ensure security and stability in the municipality and the capital in general.
