A dangerous drug dealer arrested in Benghazi.

Benghazi, June 18, 2025 (LANA) - The Anti-Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances Agency arrested a drug and alcohol dealer in Benghazi after a tight ambush in the 20th Street area of ​​the city.

Agents found 18 of 1.5-liter bottles of suspected local alcoholic beverages with the accused, a former offender, along with five large pieces of hashish estimated at half a kilogram, and six 20-liter gallons of liquor.

According to the agency, the detainee is wanted by the Anti-Narcotics Agency, as he is the source of the substance previously seized by the agency's branch in Benghazi. The agency indicated that the competent authorities have begun an investigation into the matter to determine the source of the seized quantities. Full details will be forwarded to the relevant authorities once the investigations are completed.
