Tripoli, June 16, 2025 (LANA) - The Chargé d'Affaires of the Chinese Embassy in Libya, Liu Jian, stated that Sino-Libyan relations are currently witnessing sound and stable development, and that mutual political trust between the two countries is growing day by day.
In an article received by the Libyan News Agency, Liu Jian emphasized that his country is playing a positive and constructive role in supporting a political solution to the Libyan issue by continuing its activities and sincere efforts to find a Libyan-Libyan solution that achieves stability and security in Libya.
The Chargé d'Affaires explained that the People's Republic of China will continue to work diligently to follow up on the implementation of the consensus reached between the leaders of the two countries and the outcomes of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation, adhere to the principles of equal treatment, joint cooperation, and mutual benefit, and translate the "Ten Partnerships" into action in Libya at an early date.
He also indicated that the partnership between the two countries in building the "Belt and Road" with high quality will bring real benefits to the two peoples, advance the modernization process in both countries, and contribute to the continued advancement and progress of the Global South.
