Tripoli, June 15, 2025 (LANA) - Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Abdul Hamid Dabaiba, praised the patriotic and responsible role played by the Tuareg tribes in supporting stability and national unity.

This came during his reception today at the Prime Minister's Office in Tripoli of a delegation of sheikhs and notables from the Tuareg tribes. The meeting discussed several issues related to local development, enhancing stability in the south, and supporting national reconciliation efforts.

During the meeting, Dabaiba affirmed the government's commitment to continuing to provide basic services and promote development in Tuareg areas, reflecting the principles of justice and equality among all components of the Libyan people.

Dabaiba indicated that the government is open to all national parties seeking to strengthen Libya's unity and overcome divisions, stressing that the current phase requires the solidarity of all citizens to achieve stability and build the state.

For their part, Tuareg sheikhs and notables affirmed their full support for the Government of National Unity, appreciating its efforts to achieve security and stability and improve living conditions across Libya, particularly in the south.
